Today we read chapter 4 in Of Mice and Men. We also talked about two Langston Hughes poems, and had a discussion about racism and discrimination in our world today. We watched a video about lynchings, and this helped focus our awareness of the past as we entered into our discussion. The powerpoint from class is here.
